Hello everyone, I have a VGN-FZ11S pre-installed with Vista which has a recovery utility on the hidden partition on the hardisk. I have been trying to install a clean version of Win 7 without success. Just after the installation was complete and windows shut down to restart, the restart is interupted by the recovery programme which then will only proceed to re-instal Vista again. I also tried installing 7 as an extra operating system along side Vista after partitioning the hardisk, everything seemed to be going ok until until the restart point where again it was interupted by recovery which ends scrubbing the hardisk and re-installing Vista.
Ideally I would like to have a multiboot system setup with Win7 and Vista. Does the recovery utiliyty have to be disabled somehow or is there something else possibly causing the problem. Does anybody know how I should deal with this.
