How do I access the administrator login ID on a VGN-SZ1M/B laptop?

I know I have to interupt the boot up but I have forgotten which key(s) to press.

I presume you still have the original Windows XP Home installed?

The Administrator login option is only shown in Safe Mode. To access Safe Mode restart your Vaio and tap F8 repeatedly when you see the Vaio Logo. Select Safe Mode from the Advanced Menu.

Thanks. I had only used the administrator ID once in the seven years I have owned the laptop.
