Does anyone know where to download VAIO Gesture Control Utility?

Sorry for all the questions but unfortunately you have not given us your vaio model &/or much information on your problem, hopefully the questions below may point you in the right direction but if not post again and hopefully someone will assist you further..:smileywink:

Was the Multitouch function pre-installed on your vaio.?

If so have you deleted it.?

Have you checked the mouse properties to ensure the Use Multitouch Function is selected.?

Have you checked the support pages download section for your vaio model to see the mouse drivers are available for download.? Notebooks support site

Have you tried a system restore to a point before the feature stopped working.?

Hi Thalamus,

the Gesture Utility is for motion detection for Media Player,photos etc. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7ZbyL7boMs ) and that's the reason i didn't say my model but here it is.

It was intsalled but i wanted to install windows 7 on because 8 sucks and the only thing is missing is Gesture

Thanks rich.I tried that out and worked just fine but i'm looking for the original vaio gesture control

Hi Samurai3,

As you have downgraded from Windows 8 to 7 I assume you no longer have Vaio Media Gallery installed? This seems to incorporate the gesture control.

I don’t believe this software is available for download and can only be reinstalled during either a reset to factory settings using your recovery disks or hard drive recovery partition or using the ‘Reinstall Applications and Drivers’ utility in Vaio Care. Whether the last route is available to you after downgrading I don’t know.
