What's the nominal temperature (K215s)

I am monitoring my vaio's temperature (K215S).
It's between 55-59 (fan runs at 59) while I am watching a divx.
I 'd like to know if this temperature is nominal or not.

Absolutely fine. You can add another 15 degrees on at least before you should be getting worried.

55 is pretty good.

If the system got to 90 degrees or more you WOULD know about it. As a self-protective measure, the computer would shutdown instantly to prevent thermal damage.

What program are you using to monitor the tempreature? I have a 215z but can't find the software pre-installed on the computer.

Most people use MobileMonitor.
