Wireless Keyboard lights flashing

I have a VGP-WKB12 keyboard.  The 3 lights on the bottom right of the keyboard keep flashing and sometimes when I am typing I get several consecutive same letters eg leeeters.  Can't find any instructions to indicate what I need to do. 

Help please.

Have you tried changing the batteries?

Yes. I think i'll try another battery if its likely to be as simple as that.

Hi yes its ok.  No idea why the first battery didn't work though.  Thanks for your help
