Vintage (1985 / 1986) James Bond Sony Walkman ?

Hi. I am researching for the Sony walkman that the Necros the henchman in the Bond movie “the living daylight” uses to kill (garrotte) people.

Anybody who can identify the walkman (look at screen shot) – it is on Necros (man with hat)

There has been some discussion on this amongst some Sony employees and the conclusion is that they think it may be WMF20.

The WMF20 was sold circa 1983 whick is prior to the movie, but it does look similar to the one in the image, however it's difficult to be 100% sure..

Thanks for you replay… Unfortunally I can’t see you posted photo so I don’t know. I have here some new photos from HD version of the movie.

It is still however very difficult to se and identify… Do you at Sony have any other suggestions ?

Look at the bottoms on the top – seems round! – And what about the big blue line ? Do you at Sony have old walkman adds, catalogue to look in etc ??
