Application takes too much internet

Application (pokemon go) starts taking 100MB per Hour. Before IT was 40MB per day. I have data saver on And data in The background off. Any idea what should I do? Thanks for comment

There's nothing you can do, if you disable the background data the game won't work. This is on Niantic app developers, make sure to send your feedback to them. 

Also, don't believe some odd rumor that if you enable storage permissions it will not use as much data.
