XA1 issues....fed up

Got my XA1 back on 23/06/18 from Sony repair , its now worse than before .....

It randomly turned off but would turn back on if plugged into power ..so sent off and apparently issue was fixed ....not

Now the phone turns off and says battery is 0% charge but i seen that it was 73% charge after a reset ..but it will just turn off again stating battery is depleted!!!

Think its time to get my money back.. peeved off

I'm sorry to hear that, I know how frustrating that is, trust me, I do; keep in mind that this is a user based forum, so we, users are here to help each other, this is what I would do

connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours > try to turn it on, if it doesn't work, try again with a different wall charger (for 1 hr), if the phone doesn't charge at all then contact Sony directly >>> Local support

if it does, then reinstall XC on your computer and repair the phone.

Thx uliwooly

It's been away to Sony repair but has still got the issue.

I've removed both sim card and memory card and it has now started up!

Will leave both out for now to see if its stable.... I'm thinking it could be either a coincidence or a micro sd issue!

Away for a cuppa

It really is sh1t isn't it, I've had mine 5months now and it never does as it should. Writing a message can take an as letters will decide to stop working randomly!

Rubbish

It's heading back to Sony for repair again,  it seems to be more stable without either cards in!  I tried both individualy and it will turn off but will not turn on until I put the phone on charge and then press volume up button and power button ..

But if I have either card in and it turns of but remove cards I can reset it without plugging in the charger!

So seems more stable with no cards inserted!!  Strange
