Can't access Xperia XA on computer & screen is completely smashed

My Sony Xperia XA mobile screen is completely smashed and can't see anything but can still touchscreen and it is not locked but when I plug in a usb cable to my pc. The phone comes up in my computer. I open it and there's nothing there. Just the message "this folder is empty." I need to get my photos off the phone!!

I did have Xperia Transfer mobile on my phone but my new phone isn't a Sony and i thought i backed up on the Cloud but can't remember what email address i used for the cloud and not sure how to access it.

After you connect the phone you have to select from a pop up menu if you want to just charge the phone or transfer data, if you don't, you won't be able to access the internal storage.
