Call recording on Z5

Hello

Is the call recording possible on Z5 without rooting the device?

Call recording means that both side can be recorded in a good way

Thanks

That should be available but only with a 3rd party app from the play store.

I don't have a problem with downloading a 3rd party.

I ask this because now I have Galaxy S2 and it's impossible by design to record the othe end of the conversation.

So the original question is more: is this enabled by the OS/hardware

I guess in some countries you are not allowed to record or at least the other person must be notified before you do it. This is something I have found:

http://www.howtogeek.com/194839/how-to-record-a-call-on-your-android-phone/

Also look on the play store:

Hi @biancazzurri,

Just to expand on what alexdon said, there is no pre-installed app/standard feature in the Xperia Z5 that allows you to record calls. However, to my knowledge it should be possible to this by download a third party app like the one alexdon linked to, though I haven't tested this myself.

The Automatic Call Recorder mentioned above works great.

I have been using it for about a year, you can simply download it from the Playstore, set your preferences and forget about it until you need evidence of some kind that may be useful in the future.

For example, Vodafone UK promised me that the same business tariff would be extended to all my companies numbers, they said it was rubbish and they could not find their own recording, I let them listen to my recording, they apologised, gave me the promised tariff and a £30 credit on my account.

Without this app, I would have had long standing battle with Vodafone !!!

So well worth having it.

I bought a new Z5, and transfered my favorite apps from my "old" Z3 compact.

Call recorder app on Z3 compact worked well, but on Z5 say "The ACR can not record this call.."

I tried XRecorder, and it say "No Recorder Found! Tip com.sonymobile.callrecording required on Lollipop".

I bought this Z5 on last week, and it was updated to Marshmallow (OTA) on second day!

Call recording function is not allowed on Z5 with Android 6.0???

I used to record many calls with an app (ACR) on Android 5.1.1 and it worked perfectly. Now with the release of Android 6 Sony has decided to stop incoming calls from being recorded. Why?
For me this is a reason to change my phone. I brought the Xperia Z5 Premium but so far nothing about the Premium feels premium. Everything comes to Premium after the other Xperia phones, like updates and covers.
And this constant asking for permission all the time drives me crazy... Please change this back again as it was!

Same experience with skvalex's callrecorder . On 5.1.1 worked fine with the default settings but after 6.0 upgrade the recorded volume of the other side is very low. Slightly_frowning_Face Tried also with all other possible settings without success.
