Contacts disappear

Hi,

I just got the Sony Xperia Z3 about a week ago. First time using Android. Happy so far.

But there is a serious problem: My contacts have repeatedly simply disappeared from the phone. It happened again just now. I clicked the contacts icon, and I could see the contacts rapidly disappear, and now I am only left with:

* ICE - In case of Emergency

* Myself

What's going on?

Have you checked the filters?

There's no filter on.

And even more telling, when I go to my phone call history, there are just numbers, no names... I've added some of these names multiple times now.

Settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.Do the same for contacts app.Restart your device.

Alright, done that. Thanks. If the problem does not happen again in the next couple of days I will come back and mark yours as a solution and post again saying it worked.

Hey there I have exactly the same problem.  Last night my phone wiped all the names and numbers from my contacts leaving only email addresses.

Your solution isn't working for me though and I'm wondering if I'm doing it worng?  When you go to settings-apps-all do you then go the contacts app and force stop/clear data? And then reboot?  That didn't work.

No people in my sim contacts
