Sony bdv-e4100 no sound on start up

Hi, I don’t know if anyone else has had this issue, but just in case i though I’d ask. After turning the system on there is a brief static click from the speakers and then no sound at all through any of the units speakers for between 3 and 8 minutes. This is true no matter what input or media is playing, even when trying the test tone.

how is your player connected to your TV/sound system?

Toslink/HDMI/Coaxial?

Faulty unit, retailer replaced. The replacement unit works fine, audio on all sources pretty much straight away.
