Contacts disappear

Hi,

I just got the Sony Xperia Z3 about a week ago. First time using Android. Happy so far.

But there is a serious problem: My contacts have repeatedly simply disappeared from the phone. It happened again just now. I clicked the contacts icon, and I could see the contacts rapidly disappear, and now I am only left with:

* ICE - In case of Emergency

* Myself

What's going on?

Hi suddenly I am seeing less contact numbers in my contact list and on top of that, all the names against the numbers have disappeared, don't know what to do

Couldn't agree more. I've been dealing with this issue for sometime and now can't even add a client's number becuase the contact keeps disappearing right after adding. Frustrating to no end.

hello guess what when I did a fix my phone through pc companion it still never solved this problem so no solution to this very frustrating problem pls can somebody help its just not right to lose all your contacts like this

I did what you suggested @alexdon cleared data. I restarted the phone, and I have lost all my contact numbers.

Now you need to add them again @TargetGoa. They aren't deleted.

Have you cleared data for contacts only or for contacts storage too?

My problem is as that of DrOnline but alexadon solution didn't work. Any help please. I have a new Sony Experia T2
